At Least 98 Palestinians Have Perished in Detention Since October 2023, Israeli Data Reveals

Prominent Examples
Several casualties in detention have been high profile, for instance a senior hospital director who perished in detention after a third of a year in detention.
A detainee incarcerated with the individual reported that he was taken to the yard by correctional officers immediately preceding his passing, obviously hurt and unclothed from the lower body. His remains has not been returned to Gaza.
Additional detainees who died in Israeli custody stay unnamed. Correctional authorities and defense forces gave investigators with the figure of casualties in detention, and minimal other details for example the location where they died, but not the detainees’ identities.
